Bernie Sanders Admits He Sees One Positive Thing In President Donald Trump
It is no secret that Bernie Sanders is a stark critic of President Donald Trump, and the politician has used multiple opportunities to express his disappointment with the administration over the years.
However, he recently decided to admit that he did admire something about Trump. But, his revelation was more comical, as Sanders quickly revealed that it was Trump’s hair color that he liked so much.
The 2020 presidential candidate “His hair, I’m really impressed by the color of his hair.”
He then went on to explain that he did admire something about Trump; however, despite answering the question with a joke initially.
According to Sanders, he was most impressed with the fact that Trump gets up at around 3 AM every day.
This was evident by his schedule on Twitter, which clearly shows some patterns about the president’s life and behavior.
Sanders went on to explain that he held a lot of respect for anyone who was able to get up at 3 in the first place.
Sanders said at a political event: “He gets up at 3 o’clock in the morning to tweet. So I’m impressed by people who get up at 3 o’clock in the morning.”
However, then the Vermont senator went on to explain that he still disapproved of Trump in many other regards, especially his attitude towards certain social issues.
This is far from the first time that Sanders has opened up about his disapproval of Trump and his stance on the current administration, but it looks like he has has been refining his attitude over the years, and has been focusing on more and more specific aspects of the administration’s behavior that he disagrees with.
During one political rally, Sanders bashed Trump by saying: “The worst president in the history of this country, a president who is a racist, a sexist, a homophobe and a religious bigot. Together, we are going to defeat a president who has the most corrupt administration in history and a president who knows nothing about real American values.”
And it looks like this has drawn a lot of positive attention to him from his supporters because he gathers huge crowds and has been steady in the polls.
However, Elizabeth Warren has overtaken Sanders in the polls for the Democratic presidential nomination.
