After checking into a Malibu treatment facility late last month, Ben Affleck has left rehab, and an insider says the actor “does not seem to have any intentions of staying sober.” So, how will Jennifer Garner react to Affleck not taking his recovery seriously?
Just two weeks after starting treatment at The Canyons, Affleck left and went home to his mansion in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles. Cameras caught the 46-year-old returning home for a workout with his sober coach.
Affleck has left treatment twice this week, and an insider says it is because he wants to work out in his home gym. When he left the first time, cameras caught Playboy model Shauna Sexton’s car outside of his house.

After his workout, Affleck went back to rehab, but a source claims that he hasn’t been cooperative, and he simply went to treatment to detox. However, long-term sobriety doesn’t seem to be a priority.
Just two days before Garner drove him to the rehab facility on August 22nd, cameras caught the Gone Girl star receiving a delivery of what appeared to be beer and liquor, and at the time an insider claimed his relapse is what caused his split from girlfriend Lindsay Shookus.
Garner and their three children — Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6 — have been joining Affleck at the rehab center for “family counseling and intense therapy sessions.” Sources claim that during therapy Affleck has opened up about his infidelity during his marriage to Garner, including his affair with former nanny Christine Ouzounian.
“This is the latest sad chapter in Ben’s rehab journey,” says an insider. “He’s finding the process really painful, and this did nothing to help.”
Apparently, he is putting everything out on the table in an attempt to create a “clean slate” with Garner and their children. The first two-hour therapy sessions left the former couple in tears because it opened up a lot of wounds.

Insiders say that Affleck wants to be sober for his kids, for Garner, and for his career, and he knows what he could lose if he doesn’t stick to the program. However, he continues to put himself in unhealthy situations, making it difficult to stay clean.
This latest relapse seemed to happen very quickly. Sources say that after he split from Shookus, he started staying out late with old friends, and they were all “partying up a storm.” And, his behavior worried those who have seen him fall off the wagon before.
Neither Ben Affleck or Jennifer Garner have commented on his latest relapse publicly.
