Ben Affleck Back In Rehab - Ex Jennifer Garner Reportedly 'Begged Him To Get Help'
According to a brand new report, after ex Jennifer Garner organized an intervention, Ben Affleck is now returning to rehab! Apparently, the mother of his children ‘begged him to get help.’
As fans are well aware, the actor has been struggling with alcohol abuse for a very long time and apparently, he’s broken his sobriety again.
TMZ claims that it’s gotten so bad that his former wife decided to intervene.
The outlet says she pleaded with him to go to rehab again and that because he knew he needed it too, Ben was quick to agree.
The site also claims that he has ‘arrived at a live-in rehab facility and will check in for an extended period of time.’
Affleck has been in rehab several times before, every time because of his alcohol addiction.
Fortunately, however, he has people who care, like his ex, to give him a hand and guide him in the right direction.
The report comes a couple of days after paparazzi captured some liquor delivery being made to the man’s home on camera.
He might have been enjoying that with his alleged new lover, 22-year-old model Shauna Sexton who revealed during a chat with TMZ back in May that she likes ‘Bourbon, for sure. I like whiskey and soda, which makes people cringe, but I like it.’
It sounds like the new lady in his life might have influenced Ben in a negative way.
Last year, the star opened up about his latest rehab stint in a post on Facebook, writing: ‘I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I’ve dealt with in the past and will continue to confront. I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be.’
‘I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step.’
‘I’m lucky to have the love of my friends and family, including my co-parent, Jennifer, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I have done the work I set out to do. This was the first step of many being taken towards a positive recovery.’
