Attackers Grab Tekashi 6ix9ine And Toss Him Into The Back Of A Vehicle In Kidnapping/Robbery Attempt
6ix9ine found himself in the hospital on Sunday morning after three masked gunmen mugged and tossed him in the back of their vehicle following a music video shoot in Brooklyn, New York. Reportedly, the suspects followed 6ix9ine home and pistol-whipped him in the face, knocking him unconscious.
When he woke up in the back seat of the car, the men threatened him and told him to give up $750,000 in jewelry, as well as $15,000 - $20,000 in cash.
According to a report from TMZ.com, the men drove away, and then returned to his home to rob the valuables from him. While the rapper was in the back seat of the vehicle, he opened the door and jumped out.
Tekashi asked for help from a stranger, who then called the police, and an ambulance arrived subsequently, taking Mr. 6ix9ine to the hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.
The attack on Tekashi happened just a couple of hours after he and Nicki Minaj dropped their "FEFE" remix. Earlier in the week, 6ix9ine took to social media to hint that he and Nicki would be releasing a single. Additionally, TMZ reports that a jeweler in Miami needed to create a custom chain for him.
This is just one other problem for Tekashi 6ix9ine, who skipped out on a trial for a misdemeanor assault after he choked a 16-year-old boy unconscious.
The rapper stood before the judge and claimed he didn't realize skipping a trial for a misdemeanor charge would result in a warrant for his arrest.
6ix9ine asked to be let go, and the judge denied bail at the time because she considered him to be a flight risk. Despite his troubles, Tekashi 6ix9ine is an up-and-coming rap star, following the release of his mixtape earlier in the year, which went on to earn a Gold certification by the RIAA.
