Ashley Jacobs is returning to Southern Charm after all. The reality star, who announced her departure a few months ago, was just spotted filming with other Southern Charm cast members in Charleston.
It is unknown how much Jacobs will appear next season, but inside sources say that she is officially under contract with Bravo.
The news comes months after Jacobs announced her exit on social media. Jacobs, who dated Thomas Ravenel last season, said that she rejected an offer to return to the hit reality series.
#SouthernCharm @Bravotv @Andy please say it ain't so. If it is, it's damn shady. @KathrynDennis & the rest of the cast deserve better. Not to mention, glorifying a sexual predator's side trick for ratings is repunant. https://t.co/6J7MaLcdTZ

According to Lalate, Jacobs joined most of the cast of Southern Charm for a special dinner at the Eliza Limehouse Plantation. Kathryn Dennis and Patricia Altschul were two cast members who could not make the event.
We still do not know what kind of drama Jacobs stirred up at the dinner, but her co-stars were reportedly unhappy – and surprised – by her appearance. With Jacobs set to return for another scene, we can only imagine what will happen when she reunites with Altschul and Dennis.
Jacobs allegedly agreed to film so that she could stop the rumors surrounding her relationship with Ravenel and settle her beef with Dennis and Altschul. In fact, she reportedly told everyone at the dinner that she and Ravenel are no longer dating.
Jacobs is allegedly in a relationship with ex-pro soccer star Ryan Trout. Given Trout’s celebrity status, producers are hoping to bring him on the show along with Jacobs.
After Ashley Jacobs made some wild claims about Kathryn Dennis' sobriety, her ex boyriend Thomas Ravenel wrote a menacing message demanding that she hush up.
Despite that, Ashley is now fondly reflecting on her relationship with the disgraced https://t.co/AYZefPEd61

If that happens, and Jacobs delivers enough drama, it is possible that she becomes more of a regular on the show.
Either way, producers are clearly happy about bringing Ashley Jacobs back and are even paying for her time this season. As fans will recall, Bravo only paid her for her appearance on the reunion last season.
Bravo has not announced when the new season of Southern Charm will premiere.
