Ashanti Still Cannot Compete With Her Mother Tina Douglas Despite Latest Mesmerizing Bikini Photos -- Sister Shia Is Also Shinning
Ashanti decided to vacation in the Turks and Caicos Islands with her entire family, but no matter how stunning the R&B star looks, her sexy mother, Tina Douglas always steals the spotlight thanks to her figure and killer legs.
The diva posted a few mesmerizing bikini photos and a couple of modest ones where she posed with her mom, her father, Ken-Kaide Thomas Douglas, and sister Shia Douglas.
Fans were quick to say that Ashanti has inherited some great genes based on her mom's looks.
When not living her best life with her loved ones, Ashanti is hard at work in the studio with Lil Wayne and Ja Rule for an upcoming project.
The singer/songwriter explained: "I definitely have some really cool ideas as far as clothing is concerned for next year. My fans have actually been requesting certain things from me for a very long time, and I think I'm finally ready. When it comes to my music, I cannot wait for people to hear my new project. Metro Boomin and I are putting something special together. On top of that, I'm working with Tory Lanez, Swae, Big Sean, Lil Wayne, Jeremih, Wiz Kid along with a few more surprises."
She went on to confess that her next album will be very personal and added: "I feel like I have a lot to say. I feel like the last album I put out was ... of course I'm going to say I feel like it was amazing. But there are so many things that have happened from the last time I put music out, so there are a lot of things to say. Especially with what's going on in the music industry and just the world, period. So, yeah, I have some stuff to say."
Ashanti continued with: "The new music, I'm saying things that I haven't said before and I probably wouldn't. But I think it's important to be just honest, transparent, [and] vulnerable at times and just be real. There are going to be a few people that are gonna be mad about some of the things I'm talking about in these records. I've always written records from the heart, so if it's something that I'm not going through, maybe someone I'm close to has gone through it. But a lot of this stuff that I'm talking about, I'm going through. Some people [are] gonna be mad."
Ashanti is eager to rule 2019 like a queen.
