As Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Wedding Nears, Violet Von Westenholz Gets More Credit For Introducing Them To Each Other
For a long time, the name of the person who introduced Prince Harry to actress Meghan Markle remained a mystery to everybody.
Until recently, the only thing known for certain was that whoever brought Meghan and Harry together was a good friend who set them up on a blind date.
Ever since the royal couple started dating, they have been fiercely hiding the identity of their cupid. The question of who the real matchmaker is has been a subject of heavy speculations.
Among the suspects were the fashion designer Misha Nonoo -- the ex-wife of Alexander Gilkes, a close friend of the prince and Millie Mackintosh -- she and Miss Markle work out together occasionally.
Meghan’s best friend, Jessica Mulroney, was one of the prime suspects.
She is known for her work as a stylist for the spouse of Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada.
Markus Anderson was also an obvious suspect for the person who initiated the romantic relationship between the two lovebirds.
He has been a close friend of the American star for years, and the two of them are frequently spotted together at public events.
However, recently, it was reported that the real matchmaker is none other than Violet von Westenholz, 33.
Miss von Westenholz works as a fashion PR and is the daughter of Baron Piers von Westenholz, who is a retired Olympic skier and a very close friend of Charles, Prince of Wales.
Von Westenholz and Harry have been close since a very early age, and she has been acquainted with Markle from her modeling gigs for Ralph Lauren.
Apparently, von Westenholz decided to help Harry with finding a suitable mate as dating is really hard for somebody in his position.
A supporter wrote: "And congratulations you are the Couple of the year and famous rich and proud...Meghan and Harry are going to make such an adorable baby together."
Another shared: "I wish you both all the happiness of the world in may and don't let the people make you crazy with.I think they're equally clingy, but it's so cute! They're constantly searching for each other's hands and Harry's protective of her."
A third fan said: "I like how she's always gently holding on to him. Honestly, they're in love, that's all that matters. Whether it will work or not is a different question. That's something we shouldn't care about now. All I see is two people who love each other and Harry sees his happiness in her eyes. That's the only thing necessary. The empty hole which was there is both the boys' heart after our beloved Princess Di's death is slowly being filled by two women who love them. And they deserve this happiness not because they're princes but because they're human and everyone deserves to be happy."
The duo is set to get married in May of this year.
