Things aren’t getting any easier for Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Oliver (Stephen Amell) when Arrow returns for Season 7. The couple has gone through their share of ups and downs over the years, but this season is the first time Felicity will be on her own with Oliver behind bars. How will Felicity deal with Oliver in prison?
Season 7 will begin with Oliver serving time in prison. We don’t know how long Oliver will be locked up, but showrunner Beth Schwartz recently revealed that Felicity will not handle his internment well. Schwartz told fans at San Diego Comic-Con that Felicity is coping badly with the situation and the entire ordeal has been difficult for her to handle.
CONTROVERSIAL STUFF! ? Like it or not, can't deny that it makes for a really great and intriguing read! Should Season 7 of #Arrow be the last? Do you agree with all these points?https://t.co/DlPLp0tRCx

Although Felicity is going to have a hard time adjusting to life without Oliver, not everything is doom and gloom for her this season.
According to Newsweek, Felicity’s company, Smoak Technologies, might reappear this season. The company has been missing in action since it was mentioned as part of the “Invasion” storyline in Season 5. It was also brought up in Season 1 of Legends of Tomorrow, which took place in the same timeframe as Season 4 of Arrow.
If producers decide to bring it back, it should give Felicity something to do while she copes with Oliver’s prison situation.

Felicity almost started a research company in Season 6 called Helix Dynamics. The company was going to be a collaboration between Felicity and Curtis (Echo Kellum), who invented the implant that allowed Felicity to walk again. We don’t know how Helix Dynamics will fit in with Smoak Technologies or if Felicity will have time to work at all.
At the end of Season 6, Felicity and her son, William (Jack Moore), were thinking about going into protective custody, a move that is still a possibility.
Season 7 of Arrow kicks off Oct. 15 on The CW.
