The star has decided to take a break from her public life after the loss she suffered. Ariana Grande has been through a lot ever since the horrible terrorist attack last year at her Manchester concert.
While she was still dealing with the PTSD but finding happiness at the side of her fiance Pete Davidson, she was shocked to learn about her ex Mac Miller’s passing at the age of only 26!
Ariana was extremely happy for the first time in a very long time due to not only finding love but also releasing her new album Sweetener.
But things took a depressing turn when her rapper former boyfriend was found dead of a reported drug overdose.
Despite the fact that they were no longer together, Ariana still had a lot of love and respect for Mac, who she considered a great friend.
It was undoubtedly heartbreaking for her to realize she had lost him forever.
It looks like it all became too much as she failed to attend the Emmys last night even though she was expected to.
Her fiance also stayed at home with her when his SNL castmates were out celebrating their Best Variety Sketch Series win at the awards show.
Now, a rep for the artist tells HollywoodLife that: ‘Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana’s going to take some much-needed time to heal and to mend. She will be staying close to home and using this break to spend time with loved ones and to work on music without a deadline. She thanks her fans for their understanding.’
Hopefully, the fans will understand Ariana Grande needs some time away from the spotlight to recover after the two tragedies she experienced.
