Ariana Grande is said to be having a hard time getting over the death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, despite her fiancé Pete Davidson’s being by her side.
A source spoke to Life and Style and revealed that she is suffering from anxiety and PTSD.
The singer was dealing with similar emotions after the horrific 2017 bombing of U.K.’s Manchester Arena.
The insider explained: “Ariana is absolutely devastated. She can’t stop crying and has panic attacks whenever she leaves the house.”
It has been revealed that Ariana is currently in therapy to deal with the personal issues.
The person told the publication: “Ariana is taking Mac’s death really rough, and her mother has been staying with her right now. She’s in therapy. Ariana has been in contact with his family, and is doing everything she can to honor him.”
The friend went on to reveal: “Ariana has found even more love for Pete especially with how he has dealt with her during all the Aretha Franklin fallout. Add to that her emotions that have come up after Mac’s death; he has been her rock.”
According to Hollywood Life, Pete is doing all that he can to ease some of the pain.
The source claimed: “He has been so strong for her. All the things that are happening between the two have built such a strong bond for each other. It hasn’t caused a separation of emotions and rather has brought them to a point in their relationship that it is the strongest ever.”
In a statement, Ariana said the following about the passing of the rapper: “I adored you from the day I met you when I was nineteen and I always will. I can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. I really can’t wrap my head around it. We talked about this. So many times. I’m so mad; I’m so sad I don’t know what to do. You were my dearest friend. For so long. Above anything else. I’m so sorry I couldn’t fix or take your pain away. I really wanted to. The kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. I hope you’re okay now. rest.”
Ariana is said to be planning her wedding with Pete.
