During a recent episode of Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny Frankel absolutely lost in on Luann de Lesseps when the cast was vacationing in Miami. Fans have never seen Frankel so upset, as she called out de Lesseps for being selfish and revealed that she left rehab early to perform her cabaret act.
Frankel was livid that she had gone out of her way for de Lesseps when she was in a bad place last summer. Frankel organized an intervention and got de Lesseps into rehab for free. But, de Lesseps continues to be “intolerable,” and she put her career over her health. The SkinnyGirl mogul was furious.
I don’t owe Bethenny Frankel my life, friends are there help each other out #WWHL

To make matters worse, after Frankel did everything she could for her friend, de Lesseps didn’t return the favor when Frankel lost her in on-again, off-again boyfriend Dennis Shields to a suspected drug overdose last August. Frankel needed de Lesseps, but she is so wrapped up in her own world that she never bothered to call.
By the time the episode came to an end, their friendship was up in the air. But, de Lesseps told Entertainment Tonight that things have “gotten much better” between her and Frankel since they filmed that scene more than six months ago.
De Lesseps explained that they are now at “a different place,” and it’s hard to go back and watch that again.
“It was tough. I felt really bad because I know there were a lot of things going on in there and it wasn’t just about me. I think I handled it pretty well considering,” said de Lesseps.
Even though Frankel went at her, de Lesseps says it was proof to her that her longtime friend really loves her because you don’t get angry if you don’t care. She explained that she stayed calm because she felt that it was best to let Frankel vent, and it was the wrong time to stand up and go after her.

De Lesseps added that Bethenny Frankel had “a full-on breakdown” and a lot of anger that led to her saying some of “the most hurtful things I’ve ever heard in my life.” The Countess believes that Frankel’s outburst wasn’t just about her; instead, she had a lot of things bottled up when she exploded.
Despite her co-stars being fed up with LuAnn de Lesseps’ obsession with cabaret, she says that is where she thrives the most, and it makes her happy.
New episodes of Real Housewives of New York City air Wednesday nights on Bravo.
