Reportedly, from a source who spoke to TMZ, Anthony Weiner, and his wife, Huma Abedin, have decided to call off their divorce. The website claims that Abedin intended to appear in court on the 10th of January, but her attorney represented her instead to present documents signed by both parties, Anthony and Huma, which will end all of the court proceedings.
Her lawyer revealed they decided to close the case because it makes things easier for their children. Anthony and Huma agreed to come to a private settlement peacefully and privately.
Celebrity Insider reported earlier that the couple chose to call it quits in August of 2016 after the former congressman admitted his crime of texting a 15-year-old girl.

Huma confirmed that she decided to leave her husband after considering it carefully. Abedin had no choice but to leave Anthony due to his egregious misconduct and infidelity which embarrassed not only himself but her as well.
In September of 2017, the judge and jury sentenced Anthony to 21 months in federal prison after he pleaded guilty to transferring obscene material to a minor.
The sentence carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. Anthony wrote a letter to the judge – acquired by the New York Times – where he stated his regret and remorse for his actions.
The former politician expressed deep sorrow and regretted ruining the reputation of his wife and those closest to him. Huma stood by her husband during the first scandal when it was revealed that he had sent sexual messages to numerous different women.
However, as the age of the girls became apparent, she chose to leave him for good. Sources at the time of the first scandal in 2011 stated: “Huma is going to stay with Weiner because she thinks it was an honest mistake. She’s prepared to make things work.”
