Disrespectful and tacky are the words beings used by Rasheeda Frost fans to describe her decision to share pictures where she is smiling and even laughing at Kim Porter’s funeral.
Rasheeda was not alone; she posed with Usher, Toya Wright, Kandi Burruss, and Reginae Carter at the somber gathering.
Kirk Frost was also present, but unlike the other attendees, the sadness of losing a loved one was on his face.
The reality TV star’s mother recently passed away. Kim, the mom of Diddy’s children, was laid to rest in Atlanta on Saturday.
One angry fan called out Rasheeda by saying this: “@rasheedadabosschick you’re crazy for real this is a party or a funeral???? DISRESPECTFUL end of the story come on!!!! This is a funeral or a party?????? I’m not with the taking pictures. But laughing after and celebrating who does that? to but taking pictures like that we don’t do that. But we have professionals taking pics of people that came and the dead.”
A second commenter replied: “Damn a month before her birthday. Wow, I read some of these comments, and it just amazes me how people get so angry. Why be so negative about them taking pictures it’s a home going, and there’s nothing wrong with smiling and reflecting on the person. I know I would want my family to celebrate me and my life and know that it’s okay to be happy. Don’t take this and make it sound like it’s inappropriate. Everyone I know takes pictures after a funeral, and it’s perfectly fine. It’s not disrespectful to the deceased or the family. Learn to celebrate life and not go around being miserable all the time. You may find your life a bit easier if you do so. God bless and keep that family in your prayers ??.”
A third supporter shared: “Good memories cause us all to smile. Kim died a natural death, the Lord called her home, rejoice! After my family members homegoing services…we laugh… joke…sing…take pics..and even drink..get drunk at times… IT’S CALLED A CELEBRATION OF LIFE. YOU CELEBRATE THE THINGS THEY’VE DONE WHILE THEY WERE HERE PHYSICALLY..!! AND CELEBRATE THEIR MEMORIES… Everything doesn’t have to be blasted as a negative… Guess because only country south ppl understand this.. there’s nothing wrong with what was done here..keep celebrating..keep the memories alive…so ya don’t forget…”
Another follower stated: “Some people just need to keep their negative comments to themselves ok… This woman will always be remembered by her family and friends that came to her funeral and was always with her till the end…… I don’t know about the laughing part….. But laughing catches you in the wrong….. Tbh if this were your funeral, you wouldn’t like anybody disrespecting you….. Always keep positive thoughts people……”
Was Rasheeda right or wrong to share the photos?
