Could it be that wedding bells will be ringing for Gwen Stefani and her longtime boyfriend, Blake Shelton?
The pair will be hitting a significant milestone, despite the constant shading from Miranda Lambert.
With half of Hollywood couples heading to splitsville, it seems that Gwen and The Voice coach are veterans at this romance thing.
This month, the couple will celebrate their third anniversary, and Gwen has one thing on her mind — a ring.
A source told Hollywood Life: “Gwen is head over heels in love with Blake, and as they approach their three year anniversary in November, there is only one thing she would change about their amazing, loving relationship. Gwen would still love to get married to Blake. She is hoping this anniversary or holiday season; Blake surprises her with a ring.”
The person went on to add: “While she is happy with the way things are, she also thinks about getting married all the time. She tries not to obsesses about it, wants to be surprised when he does propose, and prays it is only a matter of time before he asks.”
While no media outlet has yet reported on Blake popping the question, it has been revealed that they decided to “recommit” their love to each other ahead of their anniversary.
Their pal told the publication: “It was a sweet, nice conversation that brought tears to Gwen’s eyes and ended with both Blake and Gwen proclaiming their love and devotion to each other as well as making plans for their future together. They talked about the places they still want to go together, holiday plans and all the romantic things they enjoy doing together.”
An angry Miranda Lambert had the perfect anniversary gift for Blake and his lady love; another diss track that is focused on their failed marriage.
Miranda and her band Pistol Annies dropped a new song aptly called “When I Was His Wife,” where she had this to say about her ex: “He’d never cheat, he’d never lie, he’ll love me forever til the day that we die, he’ll never take me for granted, I said that too when I was his wife. When I Was His Wife.”
Miranda went on to say: “When you’re blinded by diamonds and driven by looks, Hon’ you can’t build a mansion with a piece of sawdust, Holy matrimony, best day of your life, I said that too when I was his wife.”
Miranda recently dropped another track that had Blake’s name all over it because it is titled “Got My Named Changed Back.”
