Almost two years after announcing their separation, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are still in the middle of a heated custody battle. Since their split, Jolie has had primary custody of the couple’s six children – Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, Knox, 9, and Vivienne, 9 – but Pitt has fought back in court, and the two will be sharing custody this summer.
In Touch Weekly reports that a California state judge recently issued an order in Pitt’s favor, and if Jolie doesn’t make some changes, she could be at risk of losing custody.
“The court hereby provides notice to [Jolie] that if the minor children remain closed down to their father and depending on the circumstances surrounding this condition, it may result in a reduction of time that they spend with [Jolie],” the order said. “And may result in the court ordering primary physical custody to [Pitt].”

A spokesperson for Jolie says that the leak of the court documents was not in the best interest of the kids and should have remained private. They also said the comments in the documents were misleading, but it looks like Jolie must cooperate if she doesn’t want to lose primary custody.
An insider claims that Jolie has “gone out of her way” to turn the children against their dad, but Pitt was hoping they could resolve the situation on good terms. However, it appears to be impossible to rationalize with the Oscar winner because she wants the kids to herself.
Pitt finally got tired of Jolie’s nonsense and decided to get the court involved. The insider says that Pitt had a mountain of evidence proving that Jolie was alienating him from their kids, and that resulted in the judge ordering Jolie to change some things – including cell phone rules.
Now, Pitt must have access to each kid’s cell phone number, and he has the freedom to call them or text anytime he wants. And, Jolie can’t monitor the communication between the kids and Pitt.

Family law attorney Goldie Schon, who is not part of the Pitt-Jolie case, explains what the court said in its most recent order. She says the court papers state that Jolie has been discouraging the kids from having a relationship with their dad, and this is a warning that the court will no longer tolerate that behavior.
But, Jolie wasn’t just using her words to put a wedge between Pitt and the kids. She also wanted to take them to London for four months while she filmed Maleficent 2, and when Pitt found out, he tried to contact each of the kids but got no answer.
So, he turned to the court to help him, and now he will get equal time with them this summer.
And, he is also reportedly messing up Angelina Jolie’s casting plans for the Disney sequel. She wanted her daughter Shiloh and son Knox to appear in the film, but Brad Pitt wouldn’t allow it.
