The divorce between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt has gotten increasingly nasty over the past few weeks, and a new report claims that Jolie is planning a humanitarian visit to the Middle East to try to improve her public image. Earlier this summer, the judge in the divorce case scolded Jolie over her attempt to keep Pitt closed off from their six children, and then she went after her estranged husband with accusations that he is a deadbeat dad. At this point, Jolie needs some positive publicity, and she hopes that visiting refugees in a war-torn country will help swing the custody fight back her way.
Sources say that Jolie will be making a return trip to a camp in Jordan where displaced Syrians are living because of the violence in their home country. The Oscar winner believes it will be a perfect photo opportunity for the media to portray her as a caring mother.

“Angelina has battled to portray herself as a perfect mother from the start of this custody battle. She thinks the more photos like that that are out there, the better chance she has in winning full custody of her and Brad’s kids,” claims an insider.
Jolie recently parted ways with her high-powered attorney Laura Wasser and hired Samantha Bley DeJean as her representation. Wasser has a client list full of A-listers including Kim Kardashian, Ryan Reynolds, and Johnny Depp. She has a record of advocating for settlements and co-parenting agreements, but it appears that she and Jolie clashed on strategy.
Bley DeJean, on the other hand, specializes in child advocacy, and Jolie has claimed to want only what is best for the children. But, her actions haven’t necessarily matched her words. And, if Pitt needs to start fighting dirty, he will.
However, according to Radar Online, Pitt will be no match for Jolie, and she has attempted to portray herself in a positive light since the former couple split two years ago. An insider says that Jolie is aware nobody can criticize her for her humanitarian work, and it will be good for public relations. Plus, it could impress the judge in her custody hearing.

While the divorce and custody battle drag on, Jolie and Brad Pitt are currently sharing custody based on the schedule the judge laid out for them a few months ago. This past weekend, four of the six kids were with Jolie, and they enjoyed a hike together in the Hollywood Hills.
The 43-year-old wore a loose-fitting gray t-shirt along with black leggings, Nike sneakers, sunglasses, and a Panama hat. Angelina Jolie’s youngest son Knox, along with her daughters Zahara, Shiloh, and Vivienne joined her for the outing. Her two oldest boys, Maddox and Pax, did not join the rest of the family.
