Andy Cohen, the executive over at Bravo TV and host of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, revealed that he had exchanged text messages with Luann De Lesseps following her arrest for battery and intoxication. Cohen said they haven’t “talked,” but “we’ve texted.”
Reporters speaking with Andy at the Critics Choice Awards asked Cohen if he had spoken with the woman since her arrest. As you may know, the star of the Real Housewives of New York star, 52, was detained by the police on the 24th of December in Palm Beach, in Florida, just one day before Christmas.
Reportedly, the police booked her for resisting arrest with violence, intoxication in public, and corruption by threat. Us Weekly confirmed the reality star entered a plea of not guilty on the 2nd of January.
On the 25th of December, Christmas Day, Luann apologized for her behavior following the end of her marriage to Tom D’Agostino Junior. She said that she wanted to “offer my most sincere apologies to anyone that I might have offended with my behavior.”

Just a few days after, Luann announced that she would be heading into rehab. She had no choice following the incident on the beach, and she is “truly embarrassed” by her actions.
Lesseps added, “I intend to turn this unfortunate incident into a positive life-changing event.” Sources close to Luann said to us: “she’s been having a rough time since her separation from Tom.Breakups are never easy, and she likes to drink, maybe this incident will be what breaks the camel’s back. She decided to go to rehab, so I sense that this will be her turning over a new leaf.”
