A few months after their secret wedding, Amy Schumer, and her hubby Chris Fischer made their red carpet debut on Sunday night at the Tony Awards! Chris has actually attended the premiere of his wife’s movie I Feel Pretty before, but the pair did not walk the red carpet together.
For the huge event, Amy wore a little black dress while her husband wore a matching suit.
As for the Tony Awards, the comedian was nominated for Meteor Shower in addition to introducing My Fair Lady’s performance.
As expected, during her presentation speech, the comedian cracked a little joke, calling the main character of the play, Henry Higgins ‘a mansplaining expert on dialects.’
Amy shared the big news that she and her boyfriend had gotten married in an intimate ceremony on February 15.
It was a pretty simple and straight to the point announcement!
She simply shared some pics from the wedding, captioning her post – ‘Yup.’
The secret ceremony happened at a house that had a beautiful view of the ocean.
Amy looked beautiful in her white lace bridal gown and with her hair partially braided.
The bouquet she held was made out of white and pink roses.
Her bridesmaids donned pink sleeveless dresses and rose crowns that matched her bouquet.
One star that was in attendance among other A-listers was Jennifer Lawrence who can be seen in one snap kissing the bride.
Jake Gyllenhaal was also there while funnyman John Early presided over the entire ceremony in drag!
Other notable star guests who were in attendance at the intimate, small wedding were: Larry David, Jennifer Aniston, Judd Apatow and David Spade.
