Amy Poehler teased a Parks and Recreation revival late last week but is the funny woman serious or merely messing with fans?
The cast of the hit NBC comedy came together at the PaleyFest to celebrate its 10th anniversary. It was a love fest to the show, full of behind the scenes secrets and a bombshell by Poehler. A revival or reboot of the comedy is not a matter of if it will happen but rather when it will happen.
Yes, the blonde beauty is ready to bring back the Parks and Recreation gang. She was so overwhelmed by fans reaction to her merely being asked the question that Poehler had to take a minute before answering.

“I’m totally overwhelmed,” the star replied before she was able to express what is going on with a revival.
“When Michael Schur is tech available,” the actress explained the show’s creator has been extremely busy lately. He is working on several shows, so a revival has to wait until Schur is available to participate in it.
“I mean, We need our captain, for sure. I have no idea where I’d want it (the series) to go, we would do what we usually do: blow out the formula, do nothing that works, put us in space. This is why I’m not the one with the ideas,” revealed Poehler.
Her answer is in line with what the Sisters star shared last summer when asked about bringing back Parks and Recreation. The cast, which includes Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaza, Aziz Ansari, Jim O’Heir, Retta, Rob Lowe, Rashida Jones, Nick Offerman, and Adam Scott, keeps in touch regularly. According to Poehler, all original cast members are on board to return. However, considering some of their busy schedules, Pratt and Plaza, for example, it is not going to be easy to coordinate.

Amy Poehler has made fans extremely happy with the news there will be a Parks and Recreation revival. Unfortunately, there is nothing concrete in terms of story, who is genuinely on board and when the gang will be back together. So, for now, fans will just have to wait because it is no longer a question of if a revival will happen but rather when.
Are you excited to hear a Parks and Recreations revival will someday make it to the small screen?
