Amber Tamblyn Claims James Woods Tried To Pick Her Up When She Was Only 16: 'Even Better, He Said'
Amber Tamblyn revealed on social media that James Woods hit on her when she was no older than 16, despite being well aware that she was underage. Her confession actually came in response to a Twitter conversation between Woods and Hammer!
Apparently, he came to Tamblyn in a restaurant and invited her and her friend to come to Las Vegas with him.
When the at the time teen told him her age, he allegedly said ‘Even better.’
To be noted that her tweet was, in fact, a response to Hammer’s slamming of a post the 70-year-old Woods shared in regards to a new gay romance film titled Call Me By Your Name.
The upcoming movie, which has already been receiving a lot of praise at different film festivals is about the love between a 24-year-old and 17-year-old in 1980’s Italy.
‘As they quietly chip away the last barriers of decency. #NAMBLA,’ Woods tweeted.
We have to mention that in Italy, the age of consent is actually 14.
A few hours later, Hammer couldn’t help but shoot back at the man by asking him about his past relationship with a 19-year-old while he was 60!
Indeed, Woods has been romantically linked to quite a few women decades his juniors!
Although he seemed to go for girls in their late teens and early twenties very late in his life, this is the first time an underage girl claims he tried something with her.
Woods is yet to release an official statement on Tamblyn’s accusations.
He did, however, block her on Twitter!
