Amber Heard is fighting back. Amber’s lawyer came to her defense after Johnny Depp spoke with reporters from GQ magazine and addressed the abuse allegations levied against him by his ex-wife, a marriage that lasted only one year.
Her attorney released a statement accusing GQ of bias, stating that the publication refused to speak with the “multiple witnesses” who saw the abuse she endured while married to Mr. Depp.
According to her attorney, had GQ done rudimentary research, they would’ve discovered that Johnny’s claims in the interview were “entirely untrue.”
Additionally, he claimed that Mr. Depp violated their confidentiality agreement and he has refused her the ability to have a voice in the matter. During his conversation with GQ published on Tuesday, October 2nd, Depp said he never harmed Amber at any point, it was totally unlike him.
Moreover, Depp claimed the 32-year-old actress tried to take money away from his ex, Vanessa Paradis, in an attempt to draw a settlement with Johnny.

As it was previously reported, Heard filed for divorce from Johnny Depp back in May 2016, after just one year of marriage. She claimed that Johnny threw an iPhone at her.
However, police found no evidence of abuse. They finalized their divorce in January 2017, and Depp agreed to pay her $7 million dollars in a divorce settlement, which she claimed she would donate to a charity.
In August of this year, Depp filed court documents claiming that Depp punched him in the face twice in April 2016. Her attorney accused Johnny of making false statements.
As fans of the Pirates Of The Caribbean star know, he has faced several controversies since his split with Amber back in 2016, including one with the location manager, Gregg Brooks, who claims Mr. Depp punched him twice in the lower-left rib-cage.
