Allegations That Kylie Jenner Doctored Her Halloween Photo Shoot Have Surfaced
During Halloween weekend, Kylie Jenner faced accusations from her Instagram followers that she had drastically edited photographs of herself in an Elvira costume.
Kylie Jenner of the Kardashians posted a series of photos of herself on Halloween while dressed as Elvira, the lead character Cassandra Peterson played in the 1988 film Elvira: Mistress of the Dark.
Jenner donned a spider bra with nipple tassels, a glittery garter belt, and stockings for one iteration of the haunted hostess costume. Then, sometime later, she changed into Elvira’s trademark black bodysuit and voluminous hairstyle.
The 25-year-old reality star was accused of pushing unrealistic beauty standards after several internet sleuths noticed that her complexion looked photoshopped and her waist looked smaller than usual in a photo.
One of you ought to fire the editor. One naysayer said of Jenner’s flawless tweet, “come on now.” Can I improve the sic? A second individual co-wrote it.
Are you a frequent editor? And another asked, “Lmao?” A fourth fan wished that the Kardashian-Jenner family would stop their excessive editing. This was met with the responses “no seriously” and “it’s much too much,” respectively.
The founder of Kylie Cosmetics has been accused of photoshopping her images before. She received criticism in 2019 after publishing a photo in which her waist appeared to have been photoshopped to look smaller.
In the latter part of that year, sharp-eyed admirers realized that both Jenner’s and Kim Kardashian’s feet had six toes due to a Photoshop disaster. Maybe Jenner learned to use Facetuning from Kardashian, who has a long list of her editing mishaps to look back on.
The 42-year-old founder of The Skims caused a stir in August after it appeared that she had digitally removed her trapezius muscle from a bikini photo. And in January, Kardashian’s leg seemed twisted in a bikini photo taken on the beach. After a while, she erased the photo.
