Alex Rodriguez recently dropped a serious amount of money to invest in the Dominican beer-making company, Presidente, through his organization, A-Rod Corporation, sources recently confirmed to Page Six. Reportedly, the ex-baseball player, who's currently engaged to Jennifer Lopez, will act as the chairman of the brand.
The same source who spoke with the outlet claimed that Alex purchased a "minority stake" in the company, and Anheuser-Busch InBev will announce the news at a sales conference on Thursday. The insider went on to say that they were working together as partners, and they're looking forward to doing business together.
"It's real involvement and real ownership," the insider explained. As fans of the baseball player know, he was raised in Miami, Florida, and also in the Dominican Republic. In the past, Presidente has been the beer of the University of Miami Hurricanes a well as the Orange Bowl in the same city.
