Alec Baldwin Arrested For Assault After Punching Someone Over Parking Spot - Donald Trump: 'I Wish Him Luck!'
Earlier today, the actor was arrested for allegedly assaulting someone in New York! Alec Baldwin punched someone in the face over a parking spot, confirms the New York Police Department as per E! News.
Baldwin was held in custody at the 6th precinct until the afternoon.
The authorities report that the conflict that ended in violence took place at around 1:30 P.M. EST.
Furthermore, according to WNBC, the alleged victim complained of pain and was then taken to Lenox Hill Hospital as a result.
The Deputy Commissioner of Public Information shared that the actor ended up being charged with harassment and assault and was given a desk appearance ticket.
That being said, Alec Baldwin’s court date is expected to take place later this month.
The star’s fame has been reaching new highs in recent years ever since he started impersonating the current president on Saturday Night Live.
Alec’s brilliant and hilarious portrayal of Donald Trump has gained him a lot of respect and admiration, and he was even awarded an Emmy for the performance.
As a result, NBC 4 New York reports that Trump already commented on the actor’s arrest, telling some reporters gathered at the White House: ‘I wish him luck.’ Well, it is not unlike the president to lie!
Alec Baldwin is yet to release an official statement on his run-in with the law.
However, this is not the first time the man gets in trouble with the police.
