Everyone who knew the late Chris Farley says the same things: he was a one-man party and they miss him terribly. Those sentiments were truly expressed when Adam Sandler hosted the show the two had been fired from in 1995. Marking his 24-year return to the SNL stage, Adam Sandler brought Chris Farley with him and his presence was felt from Sandler's opening monologue to his heartwrenching, emotional tribute to his friend at the end of the show.

Adam Sandler and Chris Farley appeared on Saturday Night Live from 1990-1995 and were often featured in many sketches together. Their friendship extended beyond the set and along with fellow castmates David Spade, Rob Schnieder, and Tim Meadows, the crew became known as the Bad Boys of SNL.

Sandler pointed out in his tribute the "Chris Farley Song," that he ended the show with, that for as much as his partying, bad-boy, persona, Chris Farley always made it to Catholic mass on Sunday morning.

Chris Farley's fans were brought to tears by Adam's emotional and heartfelt tribute and social media erupted with comments from those who were deeply touched and moved by Adam's song.
