Adam Levine is expanding his family with wife Behati Prinsloo. The couple just announced Prinsloo’s second pregnancy a year after having their first daughter, Dusty Rose. With Levine doubling down on daddy duty, insiders worry that he might take a step away from The Voice next year.

Maroon 5 frontman is fully devoted to his growing family and will naturally have less time to spend in front of the cameras. Levine always thought that he would be on The Voice until the show’s end, but he’s now thinking about taking a season off to clear up his schedule.

If Levine goes on a short hiatus, it would be his first since joining The Voice in Season 1.

The couple announced their pregnancy this week on social media. The model shared a photo of her baby bump on Instagram with the caption, “Round 2.”

Prinsloo looks pretty far along, but it’s unclear when the baby is officially due. Levine is currently gearing up for Season 13 of The Voice , which is scheduled to premiere later this month.

While the baby news is exciting, Adam Levine’s exit will mean a season without his bromance with Blake Shelton and their hilarious jabs at each other.

Levine is also great with other judges, and his absence would surely be missed. It is hard to imagine the show without Levine, so we can only hope that his schedule doesn’t get too hectic with the arrival of the little one.

Levine and Prinsloo tied the knot back in 2014 and had their first child in September of last year. During his star ceremony on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, Levine praised his family for their support and admitted that he is one of the luckiest men on the planet.

“I have a daughter, I have the most beautiful wife in the entire world,” he shared. “I am one of the luckiest people who has ever lived and it has nothing to do with me. It has to do with the people who love me the most.”

Levine has not commented on the reports of him leaving NBC’s hit singing competition because of the new child. Season 13 of The Voice officially gets underway on Sept. 25.

Filming for Season 14, meanwhile, will likely begin after the new year, around the same time Adam Levine’s baby is set to arrive.
