Actor Robert Forster has died at the age of78. The talented star is being mourned by several celebrities, who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
Forster passed away on Friday after a long battle with brain cancer. His publicist confirmed the sad news.
The actor was best known for his role in Jackie Brown as bail bondsman Max Cherry, which earned him an Oscar nomination. He was also famous for his role on Breaking Bad as Ed “the Disappearer.” It was a role he recently reprised in the Netflix film El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie and would end up being the last one he played.

Fans also know Forster as the father of Tim Allen’s Mike Baxter on Last Man Standing, Bud Baxter. Forster made a brief appearance as Bud last year, as a figment of Mike’s imagination after it was revealed the character died.
Former costars and friends have taken to social media to express their sadness, as well as honor a great man.
“Today, the world is left with one less gentlemen. One less square shooter. One less good man. One less wonderful father. One less marvelous actor. I remember all the breakfasts we had at silver spoons. All the stories. All the kind words. All the support. Casting Robert Forster in Jackie Brown was one of the best choices I’ve ever made in my life. Tarantino concluded his statement with, “I will miss you dearly my old friend. Bye bye Max. Bye bye Miles. Bye bye Bob,” shared Jackie Brown director Quentin Tarantino.
