It’s official! After a horrible year during which Abby Lee Miller fought for her life, the star is coming back to the show that made her famous – Dance Moms! In fact, the big news was already shared back in July by ET, but now, Abby herself took to social media to confirm the reports.
That being said, earlier today, Abby told her followers that ‘the best is yet to come’ and expressed how excited she was to be part of the Lifetime show once again.
She posted a pic of herself looking playfully shocked, with the caption: ‘OMG! Can you believe I am going to film Season 8 of Dance Moms!? Yes, it is official! We begin at the end of Jan! #dancemoms #aldcalways #abbyleemiller #season8 #ALDC #thebestisyettocome #aldcla.’
As fans know, the woman announced back in March of last year that she was leaving Dance Moms.
Cheryl Burke briefly took over for the second half of season seven.
Miller has teased her return to the popular dance show before, the first time being back in November when she posted a snap of her on the set of a reality TV show and captioned it: ‘Grrrrrrrr!!!! Abby has been through hell an back due to the fact that she was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma after needing emergency spinal surgery.
Her return to the small screen comes not even six months after she completed her fifth round of chemotherapy.
One insider previously told ET that while she is not yet completely recovered, Miller is doing much better and is still fighting for her life.
