Aaron Carter's Family Reportedly Ready To Step In And Save Him From Himself
Former child star Aaron Carter is in trouble. And his family is doing everything they can to try to save him. Carter’s family is getting the police involved to try to get him some psychiatric help . They were called to his Florida home three times in 24 hours. He was reportedly trying to purchase a gun and had threatened to harm his family.
The singer, who is the younger brother of Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter, has had a tough few weeks. He has totaled his car , been arrested for DUI and marijuana possession in Georgia , and has threatened suicide. He also recently came out as bisexual , saying he could no longer live a lie.
The I Want Candy singer has had a lot of trouble in the past few years, from multiple drug arrests to car accidents. He also filed bankruptcy back in 2013.
Carter has taken to Twitter recently, saying he is in good health. He is also retweeting messages of support from fans. He also tweeted about his car crash on September 5, saying he was happy that no one was hurt.
He said, “Life is really so precious, I just got into a terrible accident and completely totaled my BMW M4.”
Carter’s family believes he may be in the middle of a “mental breakdown.” The 29-year-old has allegedly been making statements recently like “I can’t take it anymore” and “I’m losing it.”
Carter has suffered from drug use in the past which caused him to go to rehab in 2011. Now, the family thinks he may have relapsed and they are afraid that he is apparently getting high from an aerosol spray.
Carter’s appearance has also raised concerns amongst his family, he appears very thin, and his eyes are often bloodshot, two common signs of regular drug use.
Still, Carter is insisting on finishing his current tour. He has three more dates scheduled with the last set for October 13.
Last weekend, he performed at the Delta Fair and Music Festival in Memphis. Carter reportedly looked like he was having a blast and even brought a young fan on stage to dance with him during one of his songs.
