King Von, the 26-year-old rapper, has died, the New York Post reported today. The outlet claims the rising star was shot and killed outside of an Atlanta nightclub this week. TMZ was the first to report that the 26-year-old performing artist was murdered outside of Monaco Hookah Lounge in downtown Atlanta after two groups of men opened fire on each other.

According to TMZ, approximately 6 people were shot, and three of them stayed at the scene of the crime and the other three ran. However, the injured men still wound up going to the hospital to have their injuries treated.

Three men were killed, with one of them being the rapper, King Von, however, it isn't known precisely who killed him. Reportedly, police officers were there at the scene of the crime and began firing shots at the men as they opened fire.

TMZ says no police officers were hurt in the shooting. As fans of King Von know, he released his first single, "Crazy Store," in 2018, and he has been associated with Lil' Durk over the last few years as his name grew in popularity.

Fans of hip-hop know this isn't the first time that a rapper has been either killed or involved in a shooting case. Earlier this year, Pop Smoke was killed at the age of 20 while staying at a home rented out by a Real Housewives star.

As it was previously reported, Pop Smoke was killed while staying in an Airbnb, after a group of men broke into the property and shot him. Originally, it was thought to be just a robbery gone wrong, but later reports claimed it could've been gang-related.

Additionally, Hurricane Chris was involved in a gas station shooting that left one man dead. Chris was indicted on second-degree murder charges this past month , and he and his legal team released a statement claiming they were going to fight to clear his name.

Hurricane Chris first rose to prominence in the early 2000s with a number of hit singles, although, his career subsequently faded.
