K.C. Undercover, the Disney sitcom that Zendaya stars in and co-produces has come to an end. Zendaya broke the news by giving media hints that she felt the show had run its course, then Snapchatted the last day of filming. Fans were dismayed and saddened upon learning that season 3 would be the last, but at the same time, many are looking forward to new things from both Disney and Zendaya. Though they may not necessarily be working together on future projects, you never know what’s in store. Anything can happen.
Disney and Zendaya have a long history together and she not only starred in K.C. Undercover, but also in the Disney series Shake It Up with Bella Thorne. At 21-years-old, Zendaya has proved to be a successful model, actress, dancer, singer, and producer.
Zendaya covers the November 2017 issue of Glamour and was interviewed by Blackish actress Yara Shahidi. The interview is candid and Zendaya speaks about her role as an actress and producer as well as an activist for equal rights for blacks in Hollywood and the nation.

Zendaya spoke about the challenges she faces with future projects because it can be easy to be typecast as a Disney actress. Zendaya has appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming and is rumored to be in Spider-Man Homecoming Part 2. As Zendaya makes the transition from Disney to movie star, it will be interesting to see what roles she selects and ultimately lands.
While many former Disney child stars have difficulty keeping their life on track and moving forward in their careers, there’s good reason to believe that Zendaya won’t have the same downfalls.
Not only is Zendaya a talented actress, but she has verbally stated she won’t get involved in drugs and alcohol or do anything that makes her lose control of her life and career.
Zendaya also spoke a great deal to Glamour about wanting to take roles that empower the black community and create narratives that aren’t being told.
As Zendaya has a large teen following, we’re looking forward to watching her continue to mature and make the transition into more adult roles.
Are you a fan of Zendaya’s? Are you disappointed that K.C. Undercover is coming to an end?
