The 28-year-old DJ, Zedd, intends to extend his residency in Las Vegas – the Sin City of the USA – all the way through 2020 along with the Hakkasan Group. The artist said in a statement today that Vegas is practically like a “second home” to him on account of all of his fans there, so performing in the gambling capital of America was a choice that came naturally.
Zedd claimed the crowds bring a lot of “great energy” almost every time he performs so he’s excited to be a part of the Hakkasan family.
Reportedly, the Grammy-award winner will play several shows in Las Vegas including at the OMNIA Nightclub, the Hakkasan Nightclub, and the Wet Republic.
James Algate – who serves as the president of the Hakkasan Group – said in a statement the DJ would be a fantastic addition to the roster and they’re excited to make it happen.
He added Zedd always has an excellent performance that brings a lot of energy and fans out to Las Vegas. Having him in the city is a great business opportunity as well as for the reputation of the town.
As you may know, the Hakkasan Group collaborated with other artists including Zedd, Tiesto, Lil Jon, and Kaskade for a benefit concert on the 7th of November.
The benefit concert was for the support of victims of the Las Vegas shooting which took place back in October. The incident on the 1st of October left 58 people dead and more than 500 injured.
