Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift’s controversial ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ song

Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift’s new song ‘I Don’t Want to Live Forever,’ written and composed for the ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ soundtrack is very controversial and has got the fans talking. There are two sides – one that loves the song that is undoubtedly going to become a big hit after the release of the movie, and another that thinks Zayn Malik’s choice to include Taylor Swift on the track was a bad one.
The later think Zayn’s voice is strong enough to carry the song on his own, while others argue that Taylor’s voice is not fit for a sultry song like “I Don’t Want to Live Forever” is.
Others think that the two just don’t fit together at all, posting on Twitter: “Zayn and Taylor are the last people I would of picked to do a collaboration” and “Zayn and Taylor Swift have a song together for the ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ movie. A sentence I never thought I’d hear or say.”
Insiders claim that the song is definitely going to be nominated for a huge award, as we know the “Fifty shades of Grey” movie, love it or hate it, brought forward amazing music. There’s no doubt that Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift are hoping to be just as successful with their duet as the Weeknd was.
Whether you think the two don’t fit at all musically speaking, or Zayn Malik would’ve been enough to make the song a hit, the track is already on radios, gaining popularity even before the movie’s release.
‘Fifty Shades Darker’ hits theaters on Valentine’s Day 2017. The producers have high expectations that the sequel will be even more popular than ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’. Well, all we know is it’s going to a be a difficult thing to achieve considering the first movie grossed $550 million in box office worldwide.
