Hope that Xscape supporters are ready for it because the divas including Tameka “Tiny” Harris and the Scott sisters have decided to remove almost all in their latest photo shoot.
The R&B group composed of LaTocha Scott, Tamika Scott, and Tiny are marching on with an EP entitled Here For It minus Kandi Burruss.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is currently on Broadway but has plans to join the group in the summer.
Meanwhile, T.I.’s wife, Tamika, and LaTocha have decided to wear sexy lingerie and gold body paint for a sizzling photo shoot dubbed Xscape 3.
Fans love the picture and are perplexed by Burruss’ absence.
One asked: “So is Khandi permanently out of the group. It’s not the same without all 4 of them I want all 4 of them to sing.Yasssssssssss old Hollywood glam. I’m here for it. Y’all was dope then and y’all definitely dope now! I love the fact that you blessed us with such an amazing return! You’re always welcome!!!”
Another responded by: “Now everyone not going like new music. Haters job is to hate. So let them hate. I can’t wait for the new album to drop. She is in New York doing Broadway will return for the summer for essence festival. She is not doing any new music. She is on Broadway til March 11 so she not gone be there for a lil while but she coming back soon as essence festival startup.”
Burruss said she left because she does not want to tarnish the band’s legacy.
She stated: “When the girls and I started talking I told them I did not want to do new music. The real reason is that I feel like I do not want to mess up our legacy. As a group, we had three platinum albums, all of our projects were hits. Records do not sell like they used to do back then. I do not want to put out an album, and it not is on that same level… And, I would hate for us not to release something as good. I just kind of feel like it tarnishes things. So it is like, I hate to say this but I can be a control freak. So, not have control over what I am doing, and I do not agree with it, then that is the problem, like, ‘I love y’all, but I am just not at that point in my life anymore.”
Burruss plays Matron “Mama” Morton in Chicago. Here For It will be released on Valentine’s Day.
