It seems many celebrities want to ensure that they cover their legal bases by having people they are intimate with sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Now, the woman publicly known as “Jane Doe” who has filed a lawsuit against Charlie Sheen says she was forced to sign Sheen’s NDA under threat. Jane Doe is suing Sheen for exposing her to the HIV virus through unprotected sex. Sheen denies the allegations made in the lawsuit and claims they had an intimate relationship but that he did not purposefully expose her to HIV. Jane Doe says that Sheen did tell her he was HIV positive but only after they had unprotected sex and after she signed the NDA.
TMZ reported the following when knowledge of the suit went public.
“The woman — who says she’s a Russian emigre — claims when Sheen dropped the news to her, he dismissively told her to take 2 pills to prevent transmission. He told her the drugs were not necessary and urged her not to believe “the convenient rumors of the medical community,” saying, “You don’t need to be on all that f****** s***.”
Her lawsuit doesn’t just accuse Charlie Sheen of withholding the information from her until after they had unprotected sex, but also that she felt intimidated into signing the NDA as she says there were multiple men who allegedly strongarmed her into a garage and weapons were present. Charlie Sheen has denied all of the allegations against him.
