Did Taylor Swift feature Katy Perry in her newest music video? According to a source who spoke with E! News, Taylor, and Katy crushed their beef while in Miami. However, neither singers have confirmed if that is, indeed, the case.
Reportedly, an insider claims one of the backup dancers in the upcoming music video looks a lot like Katy Perry, which is a coincidence, considering their whole feud began because of backup dancers.
Fans of the duo, or at least people who are aware of their “bad blood,” will remember when Taylor alleged that Katy stole her backup dancers from her right before a tour. Either way, it seems like both parties may be ready to move on.
A source said previously “Taylor is sick of fighting over this ‘feud,’ with Katy Perry. At this point, it’s getting sickening almost to a boring level. There’s only so much time spent on earth, so why spend any of it mad at people for no good reason? It’s silly.”
Hiya. I'm writing you from Miami, prepping my last Witness: The Tour show of 2017. I'm reflecting on a year that has redefined what winning means to me. And the definition of winning for me this year was simply happiness and gratitude. This year has made me more appreciative than ever for my listeners, my KatyCats – whether you've been with me since "I Kissed A Girl" or if you only started to "Swish Swish" with me. I'm humbled that you still give me your nights out to connect with you live all over the world and remind me of the place in your hearts that you hold for all these songs. After a year of peaks and valleys (remember, it's all a journey), I wanted to end 2017 with a fun, triumphant piece of pop candy. Just think of it as a glam little stocking stuffer from me to you. "Hey Hey Hey" is one of my favorite songs from "Witness" and for me, it embodies the fighting spirit I always want you to be able to find within yourself, and to see in me. So ho, ho, ho; and hey, hey, hey; and happy holidays. Yours, Katy P.S. Link in profile.
In an old interview with Perry, the singer said she also wanted to get over their dispute and move on with life. While speaking with Ariana Huffington, Katy said she is “sorry for anything” that she ever did and hoped Taylor is sorry too.
If the rumors are true, fans should feel thrilled to see the duo sharing the screen for the first time in a long while.
As you may know, Taylor has feuded with many other people in the entertainment industry, most famously, Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West.
Fans will recall when Kanye’s track shaded Taylor and called her a b*tch in the song. To make matters worse, Kim K and Kanye posted the video of Taylor agreeing to the track, in an attempt to make her declarations of not consenting to the use of the lyrics seem like a lie. However, like a sneaky devil, Kanye allegedly changed the lyrics of the song after she accepted.
