Wendy Williams expected Carrie Underwood’s scar to be totally different judging by the country star’s statement that she might not be recognized because of it. The talk show host was underwhelmed by it, and she made it very clear.
Williams said that Carrie needs to stop talking about like it’s the worst thing ever and should, instead, just focus on singing.
‘She’s still talking about this? It is so over! … I like her, but she is talking way too much about this,’ Wendy slammed Carrie on today’s show.
She then showed a blown up pic of the singer in which the scar was visible for the first time and pointed out: ‘There’s a scar when we zoomed in, from the top lip it goes underneath her nose.’
That is when an audience member yelled: ‘That’s it?’
Williams definitely agreed that it was not even that bad saying: ‘Listen, I don’t even know if I would have noticed it. It looks like a shadow or something… Carrie Underwood, here is your hug for the day, now get back to doing what you do — sing!’
As you may be aware, Underwood stopped by iHeartRadio’s The Bobby Bones podcast about a week ago, and that is when she explained in detail what happened to her.
‘I fell down… I was taking the dogs out and I just, I tripped. There was one step, and I did not let go of the leashes… But, I went to catch myself and just missed a step. If I had fallen anywhere else, I would have been perfectly fine. But, there was one step that messed everything up.’
After her accident, Carrie disappeared from social media for months, and she even explained to her fans that: ‘When I’m ready to get in front of a camera, I want you to understand why I might look a bit different.’
