Wendy Williams doesn’t think The Weeknd would have given one of his kidneys up to save Selena Gomez’s life. In fact, she believes he did not even love her during their short-lived relationship.
On her show, the host slammed the singer over his new EP and the track titled ‘Call Out My Name’ that is supposedly talking about his ex.
As you remember, Selena underwent a life-saving surgery in the summer of 2017.
And while it was her BFF Francia Raisa who donated her a kidney, her ex seems to be suggesting he would have done the same – if they were compatible!
But Wendy is convinced he would not have done it.
‘I do not believe that in a 10-month relationship, The Weeknd was all goo-goo-ga-ga over Selena Gomez, and I do not believe for a minute he was about to give her his kidney,’ she stated.
In addition, Wendy thinks the only reason The Weeknd mentioned Selena’s health was just to gain more attention for his music.
‘You [The Weeknd] pull on the heartstrings of lonely girls [with your music] who actually believe a man would actually fall in love and give up a kidney and all that stuff. That is great album sales for The Weekend, and it makes him seem like this guy you want to throw your panties at.’
‘The Weeknd, you used this relationship for exactly what it was because a lot of people did not know exactly who you were before you got with her… You got the best end of this deal particularly The Weekend. And Selena ended up going back to Justin Bieber, and her mother isn’t happy about it.’
Do you think Williams is right about The Weeknd’s intentions?
