Kyle Pavone, known as the vocalist for the metalcore band, We Came As Romans, passed away at the age of 28. The band confirmed the sad news on their social media.
They released their statement which stated Kyle’s “loss came too early in his life” and everyone in the band is devastated by the announcement. We Came As Romans’ surviving members described him as being happy, sincere, compassionate, as well as musically talented.
While they appreciate receiving flowers, the metalcore group said they are providing information on how people can donate to charities later in the week. Thus far, no publication knows precisely why he died.
Today music lost another great with the passing of Kyle Pavone of We Came as Romans. Kyle’s tragic loss came too early in his life and those of his bandmates. All are devastated by his passing. We will miss his smiles, his sincerity, his concern for others, and his impressive musical talent. In lieu of flowers, we will be providing information regarding charity donations this coming week. The family and the band wish to thank their fans and the music community for all of their love and support as they navigate their grief. “Will I Be Remembered or Will I Be Lost in Loving Eyes?”
A report from TMZ claims a toxicologist will test his body and find out what happened. Joshua Moore, one of his bandmates, shared a picture of them on Instagram together.
Moore wrote of his bandmate, “the craziest, goofiest, most funny and lovable kid. I miss you so much.” As you may or may not know, the band is known for songs like “The World I Used To Know,” as well as “I Knew You Were In Trouble.”
Back in 2013, their album, Tracing Back Roots, debuted on the eighth spot on the Billboard 200. Curiously, in August, Pavone tweeted some lyrics from their latest album which said, “will I be remembered or will I be lost in loving eyes.”
We Came As Romans released an additional four albums, with the first one coming out in 2009, Planting A Seed. Since then, they’ve released 5 different records in total, each one performing well on the Billboard 200.
Throughout the years, the band has endured a number of different line-up changes. Kyle has been with the band nearly since the beginning, joining in 2008. They got their start back in high school in 2006 , during the time when Mark Myatt was their first singer.
