Almost a year has passed since Jasmine Washington publicly claimed that Kirk Frost is the father of her baby. On the other hand, despite suing the Love & Hip Hop star from Atlanta, it looks like we are not getting closer to find out the truth.
It was previously reported that Jasmine’s court case was thrown out.
Bossip was the online publication that reported that Judge Debra Turner from Georgia family court has thrown out Jasmine’s paternity lawsuit against Kirk due to a technicality.
Jasmine sued Kirk during the summer in order to force him to take a paternity test. She also planned to make him pay for child support as well.
The judge gave her a couple of weeks to serve Kirk the papers. On the other hand, it seems that Jasmine together with her attorney Tony Mathis claimed that they were not able to do this.
Mathis even wanted to get a warrant so that he could serve the necessary documents.
Eventually, Jasmine was able to serve Kirk, but it passed more than those couple of weeks given by the judge. Two months had passed instead of two weeks.
Turner reportedly decided to throw out the case. Tony Mathis, her attorney, told Hollywood Life that Bossip’s report is false.
‘Nothing has happened; it is not true what BOSSIP is reporting,’ he claimed.
Back in August, it was reported that the paternity case was dismissed after Kirk and Jasmine did not appear in court to hear the result of the DNA test that Kirk had to take.
Speculations were that the two of them managed to settle things outside of the court. So, as you can see for yourself, things are not very clear regarding this whole baby mama/daddy drama.
