As fans of Jersey Shore know already, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino has started his prison sentence for tax evasion. However, his co-star Vinny Guadagnino believes the man can do much more good if he were a free man and so, he is begging none other than Kim Kardashian to get him a pardon.
Kim has proven to be quite the help when it comes to things like these and so, Vinny hopes the reality TV star can ‘get to it.’
While at LAX yesterday, Guadagnino made a case for Sorrentino, enumerating all of the man’s positive characteristics and pleaded with the KUWK celeb to try and get him out from behind bars.
When TMZ asked him to pitch his friend to Kim, who has successfully helped three inmates get their freedom, Vinny started: ‘Mike is an amazing person. To me, he’s completely reformed — he’s a great member of society. He preaches to kids that have addictions, he’s a big advocate and evangelist for recovery. He’d be better off out here, helping people. Kim, get on that.’
The Kardashian mother of three famously helped Alice Johnson, a 63-year-old grandmother who was serving life in prison for a first time nonviolent drug-related offense.
She then got the pardon of Chris Young, a 30-year-old man also sentenced to life behind bars for marijuana and cocaine possession.
Finally, Kim helped released Cyntoia Brown. Is The Situation her fourth success story?
Meanwhile, Vinny also updated fans on Mike’s condition: ‘I heard he’s doing great in there. I knew he was gonna do good. He was never like really nervous about it. So I was praying, I’m like, ‘Oh god I hope once he’s in there, it’s okay.’ But [his wife] Lauren told us that he’s doing great. They’re updating us on Twitter and Instagram.’
He went on to argue that he is certainly going to be Okay since he is so mentally strong and sees the positive in everything.
