Kim Kardashian’s terrifying robbery at gun point in Paris has been making headlines for months but now a video of the incident has been discovered and it looks like it’s contradicting the official story as we know it.
The police have reviewed the three minute video that shows Kim in L’Hôtel de Pourtalès, in Paris on October 3. What they have found is starting to raise questions about the reality TV star’s story.
According to Kim’s story, a bunch of thugs entered her hotel room, bound her with tape and zip ties and threw her in the bathtub. After getting her out of the way, the robbers helped themselves to jewelry worth millions of dollars and then fled the place on bikes.
The video of Kim just after the robbery took place, shows the diva sitting comfortably on the couch, bundled up in a blanket and looking calm while video chatting with someone. Not the hysterical, panicked sight you’d expect to see after such a traumatizing event.
Furthermore, Kardashian insiders stated that the thieves took her phone as well, which does not explain the fact that she was using one in the video, in the first place.
“I would have expected her to have been extremely nervous, and ill at ease,” said Henderson Cooper, retired Los Angeles Police Department supervisor of detectives.
“Usually cases with civilians who are not experienced with such conflict, people get shakes, they get unstable. Sometimes they get light-headed or confused and I hear nothing to suggest that.”
Sources close to the Kardashians say that the video was taken five hours after the heist, explaining why the diva was a lot calmer than expected. However, the time of the video has not been officially confirmed by the police yet.
However, the fact that Kim’s wrists show no sign of bruising from the zip ties in the video, make her story very suspicious. The footage shows that everything in the hotel room is undisturbed and Manny Gomez, former FBI agent confirmed that there were no signs of forced entry either.
Even weirder, despite saying that she was not filming for KUWK at the time, the place was packed with cameras and in one shot, the diva’s assistant even seems to be wearing a lapel mic.
“It’s interesting to me how calm she and her personal assistant appear to be, somebody that was just robbed at gunpoint. She was acting very normal, like as if nothing happened,” said agent Gomez.
“A camera should have been fitted to the bedroom door where Kim was sleeping, along with a sensor,” added Michael Jackson‘s former bodyguard, Matt Fiddes.
“A screen could have been set up in the chief of security’s bedroom, and somebody would have watched it all night. It’s standard procedure. There is something not right there.”
“If I’m the owner of a hotel and I get Kim Kardashian, I double, triple my security procedures. I put agents at each exit,” said Charles Pellegrini, former head of France’s anti-organized crime squad. “We are dealing with a young woman who was sleeping alone with a hugely valuable amount of jewelry.
“She would never open the door in the middle of the night in these circumstances, so who did?”
“The video accompanying this article has been removed because of a legal threat from Kim Kardashian, and the article revised accordingly. We do not believe, however, that either the video or the article accuse Ms. Kardashian of “faking” the Paris robbery, as her attorneys have claimed, and which we did not intend. Rather, they raise legitimate questions about the events at issue, questions which many media outlets and many other people have also raised. We apologize to Ms. Kardashian for any implication otherwise.”
