Vanessa Grimaldi went to KIIS FM’s iHeartRadio event in LA on Friday and spoke with Us Weekly about what she has been doing lately since breaking up with ex-fiancé Nick Viall. Vanessa revealed, “I’ve been loving life, I’ve been between Montreal and LA,” and she’s helping our “poor schools” in Montreal.
The reality star hopes to hold a fundraiser this summer for disadvantaged schools. She stated, “I’m heading down to do the ribbon cutting ceremony at one of the sensory rooms, one of the schools.”
As you know, Grimaldi and Viall got engaged during the season 21 finale of The Bachelor and broke up in August. However, despite their split, “there are no hard feelings” because they’re “on good terms” and are supportive of one another.
The special education teacher said to Us Weekly that it’s essential for a person to have time for themselves after getting out of a serious relationship. She conceded that it’s “important to feel comfortable in your space alone.”
Additionally, Vanessa revealed to Us Weekly on Thursday, November 30th, that she still hasn’t given up on the pursuit of love. She said, “If it happens, it happens.”
When asked if she would use dating applications to find a potential partner, Grimaldi jokingly remarked that she already used one of the biggest apps in the world – “The Bachelor.”
As for her ex-fiancé, Nick, the reality star spoke to Us Weekly and said he’s still expecting to find someone. He added that it’s crucial for him to hang out with friends and family to remain positive and optimistic about the future.
