In something very similar to the “I’d Rather Be Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign, three ladies of the hit Bravo series”Vanderpump Rules” have stripped down to their birthday suits and wore nothing but paint for a PETA advertisement. The women are trying to save the orca whales with this very interesting commercial.
Scheana Marie, Lala Kent, and Ariana Madix are all animal lovers (along with anyone that gets close to Lisa Vanderpump who has a mini-zoo on her property) and wanted to use their platform to bring attention to the shocking mistreatment of whales that belong to Seaworld and Miami Seaquarium.
The enormous and social animals are confined to tiny spaces and forced to do tricks for millions of visitors. The ocean creatures often die of everything except old age due to the legal abuse.
Scheana, Ariana, and Lala all dawned black and white body paint for the PSA.
Kent tells the camera: “When I saw the documentary “Blackfish” it literally changed my entire life. I found my passion and I found my voice and I will not stop until any place like SeaWorld is completely shut down.”
Madix explains the heartbreaking fact that: “Each pod has their own language. So you have orcas from all different pods who are living in these bathtubs. They’re fighting with each other because they have no way of communicating, they’re confused, and they’re full of anguish, and it shouldn’t be that way.”
Marie pleads: “Release the orcas to seaside sanctuary so they can be in their normal habitat and not confined to small tanks.”
Fans are used to seeing these women go at it with each other on “Vanderpump Rules” so it’s inspiring that they can come together to help these innocent beings who endure years of torture.
Do you agree that Seaworld and Miami Seaquarium should be shut down?
