Brittany Cartwright is doing whatever it takes to make sure she’s in top shape for her wedding. Cartwright has lost 25 pounds while her future husband, Jax Taylor has shed a whopping 42 pounds in preparation for the big day — and here’s how they did it.
The Vanderpump Rules couple has been very open about her workout routine in the weeks leading up to her wedding. To lose weight, Cartwright has been running on the treadmill and using low-impact workouts known as the LIT Method.
“Vacation is over and it’s time to get back to wedding mod,” Cartwright shared. “Back to dieting and Lit Method.”
According to Bravo TV, the LIT Method using resistance bands and a person’s own body weight to tone up. Based on how much weight Cartwright and Taylor have lost so far, it is clearly working for them.
Apart from their physical health, Cartwright and Taylor are also working on their mental well-being ahead of their wedding. In a recent interview with Men’s Health, Taylor admitted that he and Cartwright are currently in premarital counseling.
But just because the two are going to couple’s therapy does not necessarily mean they have issues to work out. In fact, there are plenty of things a therapist can help with when it comes to relationships, including making sure two individuals have the same goals.
That said, Cartwright and Taylor have experienced a few bumps in the road, including his cheating scandal last year. It is probably a good idea for them to go to therapy, just to ensure they are both on the same page moving forward.
Taylor and Cartwright are scheduled to tie the knot sometime next summer. The pair got engaged last summer and are planning to get hitched in Cartwright’s home state of Kentucky. Portions of their wedding plans are expected to make it onto this season of Vanderpump Rules.
