Scheana Marie just can’t help herself when it comes to Robert Valletta. The Vanderpump Rules star obsessed over Valletta all season long and got super defensive on social media following their breakup. Marie’s obsession got so bad that even her own mother thought she was acting like a “crazy person.”
Marie and Valletta dated while production for the current season of Vanderpump Rules was underway. As fans are well aware, Marie couldn’t stop talking about Valletta in front of the cameras and was clearly smitten by the man. At times, Marie’s infatuation was pretty humiliating for fans and her co-stars alike. But by the time the drama played out on MTV, Marie and Valletta had already called it quits in real life.
Once the new season was underway, Marie got pretty upset with how fans reacted to her obsession with Valletta. With fans bashing her on social media and her Vanderpump Rules co-stars ripping her on the show, Marie quickly got on the defensive.
According to Radar Online, Marie’s mother is the one who finally got through to her and convinced her that it was time to take a break from social media.
“My mom one morning was like, ‘Scheana, get off Twitter, you look like a crazy person,’” Marie explained on her podcast, Sheananigans. “It was a nice needed break.”
Marie’s social media hiatus didn’t last long. The reality star was soon back on Twitter and Instagram and admitted that she missed the positivity from her true fans. Of course, Marie’s also back in the dating game and recently explained why she was so obsessed with Valletta this season.
All I’m going to say about tonight’s episode is that this is the most loyal man I’ve ever met in my entire life and he never left my side the night this so called incident took place! People will believe what they want but i don’t care. I know him better than anyone and him and i are just fine. @robsvalletta I always will have your back! #kickstand #pumprules ?
While it is true that Valletta has some pretty good skills, Marie blamed marijuana for causing her fixation. The Vanderpump Rules star claims that she was high all the time when she dated Valletta and simply couldn’t remember what she had said in front of the cameras, which caused her to repeat herself often. When watching her obsession play out this season, Marie admitted that there were times when she wanted to strangle herself. She also said that her relationship with Valletta took a turn for the worse after she accused him of cheating on her with a fellow co-star.
Valletta ended the relationship two weeks after filming concluded. He has not commented on the drama surrounding Scheana Marie.
New episodes of Vanderpump Rules air Monday nights on MTV.
