Is there a Vanderpump Rules wedding in the works? Star LaLa Kent recently revealed on The Jenny McCarthy Show that her boyfriend Randall Emmett asked her dad, Kent Burningham, for her hand in marriage before Burningham passed away in April. Kent says that it meant a lot to her that her boyfriend of two years talked with her dad about marriage before he died.
“My mom told me that Rand had asked my dad for my hand before he passed away over the phone,” Kent said. “So that just like — that makes me so happy because I — I’m struggling with the fact that — like I won’t have a dad to see me, you know, have babies or get married, so that means a lot to me that Rand did that before he passed.”
Kent and Emmett celebrated Burningham’s last birthday with him just a few weeks before he died. She says they flew him to Los Angeles and he was “up in the club listening to Warren G perform live.”
Since his passing, Kent has honored her dad in a couple of different ways. She told McCarthy that she got a tattoo and also carries part of her dad’s ashes in a necklace.
If Kent and Emmett do end up tying the knot, it would be the first marriage for the 28-year-old reality star, and the second for Emmett. The 46-year-old Gotti producer divorced Ray Donovan star Ambyr Childers last year.
During her interview with McCarthy, Kent also revealed that Red Sparrow star Jennifer Lawrence apologized for calling her the C-word. The Vanderpump Rules star said that Lawrence sent her a sweet email, and she shook off the name calling because she’s been called worse.
Kent says that she is a fan of the Oscar winner and when Lawrence called her that name it hurt her feelings and she felt dumb. When McCarthy asked about the apology, Kent says that she knew it was genuine because Lawrence told her that right after she said it she wanted to punch herself in the face.
She explained that when she sees the Silver Linings Playbook star in interviews, she is always funny, so that seemed like something that would come out of her mouth. And, she thought apologizing was a “stand-up” thing for an A-list star to do.
Just three months ago, Kent shocked fans during a podcast interview when she said that Lawrence was the “type of chick” who would have sexual relations with Harvey Weinstein. She also said that she didn’t have anything nice to say about the actress, and she sucked d*** to get to where she is.

But she didn’t stop there. Kent also insulted Lawrence’s hair, said her face was too pudgy, and added that the actress needed to stop drinking. She also called her a “gross human being,” and sarcastically congratulated her on two failed films in a row.
Lawrence is a big fan of Vanderpump Rules, and when she showed up on Watch What Happens Live earlier this month, she called Kent the c-word in response the VPR star’s interview.
“Lala’s trying so hard to be nice, and then she’s like crying to her mom and then she’s like a total b***h … I’m like, ‘B***h you’s a c**t.’”
LaLa Kent returns in new episodes of Vanderpump Rules later this year on Bravo.
