Lala Kent recently spoke with Reality Blurb to talk about her role in a horror film. The “Vanderpump Rules” star also discussed a cameo that she and her boyfriend, Randall Emmett, will be making in a Bravo show.
Kent’s co-stars made an appearance at her movie premiere on Wednesday night. The entertainment blog also caught up with the actress to talk about how she came up with a formula to help her seem scared on film.
“I try to really wash my brain of any sound and just be very in the moment of hearing silence. That was my biggest thing because how are you going to be afraid of something if [you know it’s there]? You have to get in that head space of like, I’ve done this scene four times I’m not scared of the clapping or stomping in the background. That was a very intense part for me but we made it work,” she explained.
“The Row” is a slasher film directed by Matty Beckerman and follows a group of sorority sisters.
Kent has explored her musical talents on screen during multiple seasons of “VPR” so it wasn’t surprising that she told the Blurb: “I’ve been acting and singing since the age of 12. When I originally moved out to L.A., that was my path and then I went on to ‘Vanderpump Rules’ and the fact that I’m now staring in a film called ‘The Row’ is surreal to me.”
In addition to speaking about her new gig, Lala cleared up engagement rumors that were circulating about her and Randall Emmett. She said that they are not engaged right now but might be in the future.
If you follow Lisa Vanderpump’s series, you’d know that Emmett refuses to make an appearance on there but Kent surprisingly revealed that they will be featured in a home renovation show called “Flipping Out.”
The reality star recently moved in with her beau. Lala explained: “We’re transitioning into a new home but I still very much have my own space, like my office and glam space for moments like this when I need my team around and Rand doesn’t want 30 million people with mascara wands coming at him.”
