‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Katie Maloney-Schwartz Tackles Pregnancy Rumors And Body-Shamers

Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney-Schwartz is the constant target of internet trolls, but even though she routinely fields jabs when she scrolls through her social media feed, she doesn’t let an obnoxious emoji tell her how to feel. The Pucker & Pout lipstick creator recently talked about some of the more jarring comments aimed at her, but no matter what people say, she just shakes it off.
She says she has received comments like “Wow, you’ve really blown up,” and people also call her “Miss Piggy.” The reality star also says that she gets “the cow emoji a lot,” and people are always asking if she is pregnant or wondering what has happened to her. Maloney-Schwartz says it is all insane because she could never imagine saying any of those things to anyone.
According to Bravo TV, Maloney-Schwartz also opened up about the body-shaming comments from Lisa Vanderpump’s party planner Kevin Lee, who said that the 31-year-old’s weight was “out of control.”
“It was shocking and appalling,” she said. “I never thought that someone would have the guts to say something like that to my face, especially someone that I don’t have a relationship with. We don’t know each other that well. With Kevin it was just so inappropriate.”
However, after she talked to Vanderpump, Maloney-Schwartz says she felt better and didn’t think about it anymore. She says that she felt bad for Lee because he has that kind of opinion of women and feels that it is okay to talk that way. But, his comments didn’t eat away at her.
Maloney-Schwartz has a healthy attitude about fitness and body changes. She says that it is all about accepting change and accepting that it is okay. She adds that our bodies constantly grow and change, and she doesn’t need to look a certain way or be the same size she was at 25.
The SURver says that she now works out because it makes her feel good, and if she loses weight in the process, that is awesome. But, for her, it is all about having the right attitude and a realistic approach. She says she wants to enjoy life, and she loves food, wine, and drinks. She says that she isn’t going to look back at 75 and say that she wishes she would have dieted more.
Maloney-Schwartz isn’t afraid to say how she feels, even if it means going after one of her fellow VPR co-stars. Last weekend, when Kristen Doute tweeted about how hungover people annoy her, Maloney-Schwartz replied that Doute’s passive-aggressive tweets annoy her. And, when Doute tweeted that she rarely gets hangovers and her motto is “rally and live,” Katie Maloney-Schwartz replied, “Good for you.”
Was it a playful spat or a real argument? It isn’t really clear, but we can find out what is going on between the two when Bravo airs the next part of the Vanderpump Rules reunion on Monday night.
