The new season of “Vanderpump Rules” is taping and there has already been multiple rumors surrounding the drama between castmates. The latest scandal involves a serious accusation of transphobia.
After Katie Maloney, Scheana Marie, Ariana Madix, and Brittany Cartwright promoted a Girls Night at SUR without tagging Billie Lee — the “VP” newcomer took it to heart.
Bilie immediately tweeted: “When yo coworkers don’t include the only trans girl in GIRLS night at your own job! On the night you work! #rudeAF #TransIsBeautiful. This was not a birthday at someone’s house. This was an event called GIRLS night at my job where I work and on the night I’m scheduled. It’s not a matter if you like me or not! I work there.”
Radar Online reported that Kristen Doute has been downgraded to a ‘friend’ of the cast and has been replaced with Lee for a full-time position.
There is allegedly bad blood between the two because of the recent decision which is why it wasn’t surprising that Doute was the first to respond.
The 35-year-old tweeted: “It’s not your event. Don’t make this about something it’s not. #NoH8″
Billie shot back with: “Boo you don’t work there so why are you speaking?”
Katie Maloney retweeted a fan who urged Billie to ‘relax’ and added her own caption that read: “I’m completely supportive and will always be supportive of the LGBTQ community EVERYONE is invited and welcome tomorrow!”
The drama escalated when the transgender activist took the argument to Instagram where she posted a photo with a caption that said: “Stay strong, Billie. You are light. You are love. #transisbeautiful #girlsnight. Thank you all for having my back through this awful time.”
Since it appeared that Katie was the mastermind to the celebration, Tom Schwartz decided to stick up for his wife when he wrote: “Billy, this is so melodramatic. It was a simple oversight. You are loved, chill.”
This set the reality star off.
“It’s Billie with an IE. I was tagged hours after I said something and [was] never included in any planning. I didn’t know about [the event until] Katie posted. She planned it and decided not to include me. It’s girls night at my work, not her birthday party. You can kindly [sit] this one out, boo.”
When the event rolled around on July 3, Billie was indeed present but it’s unknown whether or not the beef is squashed.
Do you think the girls purposely left their co-star out of the loop?
